Pond Heron

Posted by
Mohanakumar (Kochi, India) on 15 March 2010 in Animal & Insect.

Last from this series! We enjoyed thoroughly this trip and wish to visit again shortly!
This bird is shorter than our Indian pond heron, must be migrated bird, a Chinese Pond Heron.

Amazing camouflage, and those beautiful, piercing eyes. You have captured the details so well here in a very fine portrait.
